python-ownet software package provides Python module for accessing 1-wire networks, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-ownet
python-ownet is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-ownet package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-ownet *
You will get with python-ownet package name, version, architecture and description in a table
